Always family friendly, SBMM is now providing weekly art activities for children ages 4-11 every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Parents are encouraged to visit the museum anytime during this four-hour window to complete fun and engaging art projects with their children.

Have fun making WOVEN TINY TURTLES

Children will enjoy making a family of tny turtles with yarn and a popsicle stick frame
Make a BOOKMARK of a MER-PERSON, CAPTAIN, BUCCANEER or SAILOR
Saturday October 21
Using colored paper, crayons and markers make your own bookmark for your favorite book
SBMM members always receive free admission. Those families renewing or signing up for a SBMM family membership will receive a free children’s book!
The cost for the public to attend is the price of admission, which is $10 for adults; $7 for seniors; and $5 for youth ages 6-17. Children five and under are FREE. SBMM also participates in the Museums for All program, which provides a reduced admission to individuals with SNAP cards. Through the Museums for All program, children five and under are free, and those individuals 6+ are $2. Through the program, families can purchase a family membership for $20, which allows them to return as often as they would like for the full membership year.
