For a submission to be considered:

  • The item or object must be sufficiently documented.
  • The item or object must be unique to the museum’s collection.

SBMM will not accept items or objects dropped off at its location. To communicate your request, please contact SBMM’s Curator Emily Falke by emailing efalke@sbmm.org or calling (805) 456-8745.

Or you may submit the artifact submission form below.

SBMM is grateful for your interest and desire to contribute to its collections. All proposed acquisitions must be approved by the museum’s curator, Collections and Exhibitions Committee, and Board of Trustees.
