Enjoy a refreshing Lemon Drop, our signature cocktail from Simply Cocktails, along with a selection of hors d’oeuvres, while discovering the fascinating story of the WAVES uniform.
During World War II, the WAVES—Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service—opened new doors for women in the U.S. Navy. More than 80,000 women served in over 900 roles across the country, making an essential contribution to the war effort and helping pave the way for women to hold permanent positions in the Armed Services.
Our featured presentation will take a closer look at the WAVES uniform and the women who wore it, offering a compelling glimpse into service, style, and a turning point in military history.
