The Deeper Dive Series: Renny Yater, Heritage 1885-1959

In this fascinating video, legendary surfer and surfboard shaper Renny Yater and acclaimed artist John Comer discuss the history of surfing, the evolution of wooden surfboard design and how the skills and interests of these two men came together for the unique presentation of the exhibition Heritage, Craft and Design:  Surfboard Design 1885-1959.  Enjoy a deep dive into the intriguing development of the sport of surfing in Southern California as told by surfboard shaping legend Renny Yater and renowned artist John Comer.
