Holly will guide us through the significance of Santa Barbara’s designation as a Whale Heritage Area, a global initiative that recognizes regions with deep ties to cetacean conservation, culture, and tourism. Discover how this prestigious status celebrates our coastal whale history—from Indigenous stewardship and offshore whaling to modern-day eco-whaling and whale-watching traditions.
