Join Us for the San Ignacio Lagoon Whale Trip
Premium Tent Camp, February 24-27, 2026
Glamping Tent Camp, February 25-28, 2026
San Ignacio Lagoon, is nestled halfway down the Baja, Mexico coast. A magical place, the lagoon is one of the rare places on Earth where you can experience the thrill of petting whales and their playful calves. Late February is the perfect time to visit, as the curious calves are preparing for their journey to the Bering Sea. This unforgettable adventure promises fun for all ages, making it an ideal family getaway or a memorable vacation with friends.
Timed for peak activity, when calves are strong and playful, this trip offers rare, up-close encounters from small boats (pangas) guided by local fishermen. We’ll meet in Cabo San Lucas and take a chartered flight to a remote, beachfront eco-camp featuring cozy, heated tents with private bathrooms, fresh meals, and a lounge tent.
