The Santa Barbara Sea Glass & Ocean Arts Festival (SBSGOAF) is holding an Instagram silent auction from October 11-18, with 100% of the proceeds going to support the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum. 12 amazing professional artists–Tori Antonelis, Christine May Brand, Alan Clark, Pedro DeLaCruz, Brandon Harward, Julie Ippoliti, Rachel Kenney, Syd McCutcheon, Sierra Patti, Janet Reid, Sharon Schock, and Kim Snyder—have worked hard to transform wooden fish into original “maritime” artwork for the public to bid on! They have posted photos of the artists and the fish to be auctioned on both the SBMM and Sea Glass Festival Instagram and Facebook pages, so people can pick their favorites before the bidding begins on Sunday, October 11. We are hoping to help our friends and partners at SBMM through this difficult time, and we know you will love the artwork! Several of the artists are from the sea glass and ocean arts family, and others you will get to know as we post their fantastic art.

Maybe there's a happy little waterfall happening over here. A little happy sunlight shining through there. Take your time. Speed will come later. God gave you this gift of imagination. Use it. Once you learn the technique, ohhh! Turn you loose on the world; you become a tiger. Work on one thing at a time.
